Securely move money between your Univest accounts or between your Univest and non-Univest accounts so funds are available for whatever you need, whenever you need it.


internal transfers

This free service will allow you to efficiently manage your Univest accounts when it’s convenient for you. Immediately transfer money, schedule future transfers or setup recurring transfers using your phone, tablet or computer.

Setting up an internal transfer is easy.

  1. Securely sign in to online banking or the mobile app
  2. From the dashboard, select the Transfer button
  3. Choose the Accounts to debit and credit
  4. Enter the Amount of the transfer
  5. Select More Options to choose the transfer Date, Frequency, and add a Memo
  6. Confirm the transfer details and select Submit

Our bank-to-bank transfer service offers two capabilities:
  1. Transfer funds between your personal Univest accounts and personal deposit accounts at other financial institutions.
  2. Make payments on your Univest loan from your accounts at other financial institutions.

Forget the hassle of stopping at various places to transfer money between accounts at multiple institutions. Your time is valuable and can be managed more effectively using this free online service.

 

Follow these simple steps to start using bank-to-bank transfers:

Online Banking
  1. Login to online banking
  2. From the dashboard, select the Transfer button
  3. Under the Make external transfers with another financial institution option at the bottom, select Add account
  4. Confirm your password to continue
  5. Enter the required information for your external account and click Submit 
  6. Confirm you’re authorized to access the account by Verifying the small deposits that were made to the external account
    • Go to settings within online banking
    • Select external transfers
    • Enter the deposit amounts
    • Click Confirm to verify the account
Mobile App
  1. Sign in to the app
  2. Select the Menu icon in the top left corner
  3. Tap your Name at the bottom of the menu and select Settings
  4. Select External Transfers under Accounts then select Add External Account
  5. Confirm your password to continue
  6. Enter the required information for your external account and click Submit 
  7. Confirm you’re authorized to access the account by Verifying the small deposits that were made to the external account
    • Go to settings within the app
    • Select external transfers
    • Enter the deposit amounts
    • Click Confirm to verify the account

ONLINE TRANSFERS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the cutoff times for transfers?
The cutoff time for transferring funds between Univest accounts is 8 p.m. each business day. External, or Bank-to-Bank, transfers cutoff time is 3 p.m. each business day.

Will I be able to delete transfers once they have been submitted?
No, both internal and external transfers cannot be deleted once submitted. If a transfer was submitted mistakenly, a new transfer will need to be set up to move the funds back.

Can I add a memo line to a transfer?
A memo line can be added to an immediate transfer that is not future dated. While memos aren't an option for recurring or future-dated transfers, you can add a “tag” to transactions that will appear after the transfer posts to your account.
