Univest York Regional Office MembersJanuary 26, 2021 — Univest Financial announces the opening of its first location in York County located at 2901 Whiteford Road in York, Pa. The regional office will serve both business and consumer customers and provide Univest’s integrated financial solutions including commercial lending, consumer and business banking, commercial insurance, employee benefits, mortgage banking and commercial leasing. The office is staffed by an experienced team of financial professionals and led by Chau Nguyen, who joined Univest in early 2019 as vice president and York County market leader. Kristen Ventre, senior vice president, works with businesses to provide employer retirement plans while Ryan Roy, vice president and wealth advisor, assists individuals and families in planning for their financial future.

“Univest’s strength has always been building relationships in the communities we serve and I am certain our local team of industry veterans will do just that as we help businesses, consumers and nonprofits with their financial needs,” said Michael Keim, president of Univest Bank and Trust Co. “We saw an opportunity to grow in York and look forward to the impact we can have in the market as we continue our strategic expansion in Central Pennsylvania.”

Univest began its expansion in Central Pennsylvania when it entered the Lancaster market in May 2016. Since that time, Univest has reached $1 billion in loan commitments in the Central Pennsylvania market and has built a physical presence including a regional office in Lancaster and five financial centers located in Brownstown, Georgetown, Intercourse, Strasburg and Willow Street. In late 2020, Univest opened a regional office in Berks County and a regional office in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County is slated to open in the second quarter of 2021. These new regional offices support the company’s strategy to expand into markets contiguous to its current footprint.
