Money Market Account 1

A public funds money market account is designed for public entities that maintain higher balances and want to earn a premium rate on excess funds.

  • Monthly minimum balance of $1,000
  • Monthly service charge of $10 if balance requirements are not met
  • No monthly service fees
  • No per item fees


Sweep Account

A public funds sweep account is designed for public entities that have account balances exceeding their daily operating expenses. This account can help maximize funds by automatically transferring excess monies from your public funds checking account into a securities account every night.

Provide short and long-term investing options including deposit accounts designed to simplify day-to-day operations as well as investment management solutions. 2





All Public Funds money is in compliance with Act 72.

1) Limited to six (6) withdrawals or transfers to another account or third-party by means of check, draft and debit card (including online or telephone transfers) within a statement period/cycle. Unlimited deposits and withdrawals at any Univest Financial Center.

2) Securities and insurance products are offered through Univest Investments, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC and a licensed insurance agency. Investment advisory services are offered through Girard Partners, a Univest Wealth Management Firm. These affiliated companies are licensed subsidiaries of Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania.
