IRS INCREASED 2019 FSA CONTRIBUTION LIMITS
On November 15, 2018 the IRS announced an increase to the health care flexible spending account (FSA) contribution limits for 2019. Up $50 from the 2018 limit, employers can allow employees to contribute a maximum of $2,700 towards their health care FSA.This benefit allows employees to use tax-free dollars to pay for medical expenses that are not covered under other health plans. Employer contributions to employee health care FSAs are not impacted by this change and may be made in addition to the employee contribution.
