Univest Employees Achieve Honor Student Recognition From Pennsylvania Bankers Association
Susan E. Fisher Also Completes CFP® Certification
SOUDERTON, Pa, July 1, 2010 – Univest Bank and Trust Co.SM, a subsidiary of Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania (NASDAQ: UVSP), recognized Susan E. Fisher, vice president and senior financial advisor; Timothy M. Hampton, vice president and relationship manager; and Jonas Homa, relationship manager, for receiving honor student status from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PBA) Group 2 meeting held on April 26, 2010 at the Rivercrest Golf Club & Preserve. Honor students are selected on outstanding work during school and on the three yearly exams' cumulative scores.
Fisher also achieved her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Fisher has 13 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been working in the Wealth Management & Trust area of Univest for 5 of those years. Fisher is responsible for business development, investing, financial planning and pre-retirement planning, specializing in The Woman Investor. In addition, she also assists non-profit organizations and individuals with charitable planning through the Univest Foundation. Outside of Univest, Fisher serves on the Executive Board of the North Penn YMCA and in advisory and committee positions with Bucks County Community College Foundation and the Bucks County Women's Fund.
Hampton has 7 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been working in Univest's Corporate Banking area serving Bucks County for 4 of those years. Hampton is responsible for managing credit risk, portfolio management, prospecting and relationship building. Outside of Univest, Hampton volunteers at Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale. He currently serves as Chairman of the finance committee, treasurer of the Deacon's fund and is a member of the Seminary Board of Trustees.
Homa has 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been working in Univest's Corporate Banking area serving the Bucks County community for 4 of those years. Homa is responsible for managing credit risk, portfolio management, prospecting and relationship building.
The Pennsylvania Bankers Association, located in Harrisburg, is the state's largest banking trade association representing an expansive and diverse membership. The association offers extensive continuing education programs, government relations representation on behalf of the industry, and provides numerous products and services for banks and their employees.
