Univest Announces Promotions
SOUDERTON, Pa., March 10, 2010 – Univest Corporation (listed on NASDAQ: UVSP) announced the promotions of Michael S. Keim to senior vice president and residential mortgage operations director; Pamela M. Urich to vice president and benefits service manager, Susan E. Fisher to vice president and senior financial advisor, and Bryce J. Bergey to retirement plan officer.
Keim joined Univest in December, 2008 and most recently held the title vice president and residential mortgage operations director. In his new position as senior vice president and residential mortgage operations director, his responsibilities include overseeing the capital markets, financial analysis, processing and closing, underwriting, and technology functions within the mortgage banking unit. Keim is the co-chairman of St. Bede's Capital Campaign and was a previous member of the Mortgage Banker's Association of America and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has been in the financial services industry for 20 years and currently resides in Richboro.
Urich joined Univest in February, 1996 and most recently held the title employee benefits service manager. In her new position as vice president and benefits service manager her responsibilities include overseeing employee benefits, the account management staff and the front desk administration. She has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently resides in Souderton.
Fisher joined Univest in August, 2002 and most recently held the title charitable trust officer. In her new position as vice president and senior financial advisor, she works with clients to design life plans to support their financial goals for pre-retirement planning, retirement planning or structuring an investment portfolio for maximizing return for personal goals. Fisher also specializes in "The Woman Investor" domain of the Wealth Management division of Univest and holds FINRA licenses 6 and 63 and is currently pursuing her CFP® certification. She serves on the Executive Board of the North Penn YMCA and in advisory and committee positions with Bucks County Community College Foundation and the Bucks County Women's Fund. Fisher currently resides in Telford.
Bergey joined Univest in May, 2006 and most recently held the title assistant retirement plan officer. In his new position as retirement plan officer, his responsibilities include facilitating business development as well as building relationships with current institutional and corporate clients. Bergey is a holder of FINRA series 6 and 63 licenses along with the Pennsylvania Insurance Producer's Life and Health License. Bergey is on the board of directors of MEDA International and local Delaware Valley MEDA, a member of the Indian Valley Young Professionals Network and Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Committee. He is a volunteer at Indian Valley Boys and Girls Club and the North Penn United Way and also serves as a representative on Univest's United Way Committee. He currently resides in Hatfield.
