SOUDERTON, Pa, February 27, 2007 – Univest Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select Market: UVSP) recently announced that its Wealth Management and Trust Group surpassed the $1 billion mark in assets under management.

Since March 10, 1923 when the Bank first received its trust powers, it has been dedicated to assisting individuals, nonprofits, businesses, and families manage their wealth. Over the years, through leadership from Charles H. Hoeflich, Russell M. Moyer, Murray Y. Alderfer, Marvin A. Anders, and now Barry L. Stoltzfus and J. Matthew Holliday. Univest’s Trust Department has built a strong reputation and created a tradition of serving generations of investors. Today, 84 years later, the Trust department consists of 47 employees and five departments including Wealth Management & Trust, Individual Trust, Institutional Trust, Trust Investments, and Trust Support.
