Univest Bank and Trust Co. Celebrates West Chester Office Opening with Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

West Chester, Pa., June 19, 2013 - Univest Bank and Trust Co. (NASDAQ: UVSP) recently celebrated the opening of a new office in West Chester located at 109 N. High Street with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.  West Chester Mayor Carolyn Comitta, the chiefs of staff for State Senator Andrew Dinniman and State Representative Dan Truitt - Don Vymazal and Matthew Holliday respectively, Chester County commissioner Terence Farrell, Chamber president Mark Yoder, West Chester BID executive director Malcolm Johnstone, local contractors and Univest representatives, including the bank president and chief executive officer K. Leon Moyer, participated in the event.


After the ribbon was cut and the dedication prayer was delivered by the Reverend Dr. Truman Brooks of West Chester United Methodist Church, guests had an opportunity to see the new office.  The new 3,800 square foot facility has office space for nine employees.  Currently, six are working in the office who specialize in corporate banking and wealth management solutions.  In addition, the office has a walk-up ATM machine for customers and other pedestrians.
