Register For MasterCard® SecureCode®
When a MasterMoney® Debit Cardholder visits a participating online merchant, MasterCard SecureCode® authenticates the cardholder –- verifying in realtime that he or she is an authorized user of the MasterMoney Debit Card account presented for payment online.

Two ways to register:

1 - Surf to the registration page where the cardholder can verify their identity and create a SecureCode and personal message. When the cardholder shops at a participating online merchant, he or she is presented with the “Standard Password Entry” page and must enter his or her SecureCode/Password correctly in order to complete the transaction with that MasterMoney Debit Card.

2 - Cardholders have the ability to activate their card while shopping. The Activation During Shopping cardholder experience starts when the cardholder initiates a purchase with a participating merchant:

  • The cardholder clicks on the “Buy” button or equivalent action.
  • The payment card is identified as an eligible MasterCard Debit Card.
  • Univest opens a separate window and presents an “Activation” page.
  • The cardholder will need to enter the information requested by Univest and a quick identity verification process takes place. The information exchanged in this session is only shared between the customer and Univest.
  • Univest confirms the identity verification and the customer is able to process the purchase as a MasterCard SecureCode transaction.
  • The cardholder is returned to the merchant session and the transaction is complete.
  • On all further transactions, the cardholder is presented the “Standard Password Entry” page and must enter his or her SecureCode/Password correctly in order to complete the transaction with their MasterMoney Debit Card.
